Parents,

Dad's Club is very close to our start date of November 7th for this years
Indoor lacrosse program at the Armonk Indoor Bubble.  Our coaches have met
and I believe we will have a very exciting and educational program for all
age groups.  I have always said that the most important thing about lacrosse
is instructional training.  The best programs in the country also share this
belief to the point that practice is more important then games or they are
at least equal.

We have organized the program for 9 one hour sessions starting November  7th
8-9 PM on Saturday evenings.  If you break down the $175 / player this comes
to less the $20.00 per session which in my mind is a great value.

The program will be broken by grade.  The 3rd-5th being the junior division
and 6-8th being the senior division.

Junior - Grades 3rd-5th  -   Nov 7,14,  Dec 12,  Jan 2,16,30,  Feb 20,  Mar 6,20

Senior -Grades 6th-8th  -   Nov 21, Dec 5,19,  Jan 9,23,  Feb 6,27,    Mar 13,27

There is no session November 28th, December 26th, February 13th

The overall concept for the junior division will be building better skills
on the essentials of lacrosse.  Toward the end of the program we will be
balancing the session to include scrimmaging.  If we feel the boy's are
learning at a quick pace we will start the scrimmage part of the session
earlier.  We will be breaking the players down by skill level and grade so
more one on one coaching can be done.

 The senior division will start this years program on a balance between
skill development and scrimmages.  However as we move fairly quickly into a
scrimmage only concept.  Our idea here is to build up to our first
Pleasantville Indoor Cup Tournament as we will break down the players into 2
or 3 teams and have a round robin in March.  ( We have canceled the idea of
playing games with other communities because it was going to take away from
the goal of the program which is to increase play time for Pleasantville
athletes)

I am sending this out to encourage you to sign up immediately since we will
close registration at 50 players since field space is more difficult beyond
this number.   We are expecting  to reach this number soon so don't be the
reason your player is sitting home this winter

I am a very big supporter of this program since it will enhance our players
abilities as we move into our Spring out door season.
